What is the NUMBER ONE cause of IRREVERSIBLE Hair Loss

What is the NUMBER ONE cause of irreversible hair loss?

Procrastination.

How often when we are pressed with the beginnings of hair loss, and instead of seeking help or treatment, we start to rationalise it:

“Maybe it’s the water…..”

“Maybe it just my recent stress….”

“I haven’t been sleeping well……”

“I haven’t been eating well…..”

“I just had my period…..”

“It’s nothing, no one in my family is bald…..”

That is the nature of our behaviour when it comes to health matters that are not “classically urgent” such as chest pains, difficulty breathing, or fainting spells where we would lunge into a tirade of diagnostics and search out the best doctors to help us diagnose a problem that could very well have just been panic attacks or lack of sleep.

Such is the lack of urgency we have, because many a time we believe that we have millions of hair and a loss of a few strands pose an insignificant urgency to have it properly investigated and treated.

Healthy Skin Does NOT Mean Healthy Hair

Your hair follicles and skin are two separate components that co-exist in the same anatomical area. You can have beautiful skin or a flawless scalp, but have dead hair follicles that no longer produce hair.

Your hairs are LIMITED! Your scalp only has an average of between 120,000 to 150,000 strands of hair (contrary to the millions we believe we have), and they are dependent of the health of the follicles. Follicles that are damaged will no longer be able to regenerate and thus permanent hair loss occurs.

That is why it is imperative that early detection and diagnosis of the cause of hair loss. If one would simply imagine hair follicles like a plant. If the plant (or hairs) is weak but the roots are intact, we can save it through proper targeted treatments. However if the the roots are damaged or no longer function, no amount of treatment or serum or organic materials can bring it back to life.

So if you or someone close to you have started signs of hair loss, do not procrastinate! Get it checked immediately by a health professional.
